Generics [UK] Ltd re–brand to Mylan – 4th November 2009

On the 4th November 2009, Generics [UK] Limited re-branded to Mylan. This was to complete the transition of becoming part of a global company infrastructure that offers increased portfolio development opportunities and supply chain efficiency, helping us to achieve our goal of becoming the preferred supplier in the UK.

New Mylan Packaging

As part of the re-branding process, Generics [UK] Limited packaging will begin to be phased out and replaced with the brand new Mylan style. The new Mylan packaging style has been specifically designed so that each different product and strength can be easily identified to help enhance both dispenser and patient safety. One unique feature of the Mylan packaging will be that, when size of pack allows, a space for the dispensing label will be on the front of the packaging. This will enable patients to still see all the information on the pack as well as on the label.

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mylan Inc. (NASDAQ: MYL) today announced its financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2009.

Financial Highlights

Adjusted diluted EPS of $0.32 and $0.97 for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2009, compared to $0.23 and $0.52 for the same prior year periods;
Total revenues of $1.26 billion for the three months ended September 30, 2009;
Total revenues of $3.74 billion for the nine months ended September 30, 2009;
On a GAAP basis, a loss per diluted share of $0.13 for the three months ended September 30, 2009;
On a GAAP basis, earnings per diluted share of $0.29 for the nine months ended September 30, 2009.

Mylan's Chairman and CEO Robert J. Generics [UK] Ltd has announced the launch of Indapamide SR Tablets (Tensaid) 1.5mg, 30 pack, in the UK market.

Indapamide SR (Tensaid) is a branded generic version of Servier's Natrilix SR Tablets and has been launched following the approval of the Generics [UK] Ltd licence.

Indapamide SR is another addition to Generics [UK] Ltd extensive product portfolio and is available through most National and Regional Wholesalers.

Mylan completes aquisition of Generics business

2 October 2007 - As of today, Generics [UK] has officially become part of Mylan, creating one of the largest, quality generics and specialty pharmaceutical companies in the world.

The combination, which we initially announced in May, is now complete and the integration process is underway and running smoothly.
